If your contract ended or you were dismissed, don’t panic.

Italy allows **attesa di disoccupazione** (unemployment waiting period).

What it means:

✔️ You can renew your permit without a job

✔️ You have time to find another contract

✔️ Your residency rights continue

Steps:

➡️ Bring termination/contract end letter to Questura

➡️ Register at the Job Center (CPI)

➡️ Keep your documents updated
